As a growing category on Amazon, it had plenty of competition but with constant vigilance and attention to detail, Beard Club held a steady page one ranking and grew to a profitable business.
Looking to new ventures in 2021, the Beard Club founder mandated The Fortia Group to negotiate an exit. Our team built out an in-depth CIM (50 page confidential information memorandum), highlighting growth opportunities for prospective buyers from supply chain and marketing, to packaging and new markets. When it was exit-ready, we brought it to a select group of suitable buyers. Beard Club sold to one of the largest aggregators for a multiple that exceeded the Beard Club’s expectation. The process from mandate to sale was 2 months.
