With over a decade in leading investment banks Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, Emmett has billions of dollars of corporate finance expertise across equity, credit, and M&A. Emmett overseas all the deals that The Fortia Group advises on.

Co-founder, Sidera Labs

Daniel Jacobini is Co-Founder at Sidera labs a data-driven ecommerce VC firm that helps brands understand their operational data to inform how they can scale with an eye towards long-term profitability. He previously was the Head of Data for BlackRock's US Growth team as well as Co-Lead for Point72's Consumer Market Intelligence team. In addition to his work in VC, Daniel has consulted for companies including Ralph Lauren, Planet Fitness, and several 9-figure DTCs.

Ari Horowitz

CEO, Swiftline Corp

Ari Horowitz is the co-founder and CEO of Swiftline Corp. which is acquiring eCommerce SaaS businesses. Prior to launching Swiftline, Ari was SVP, Strategic Partnerships and Corporate Development for Thrasio, the leading acquirer of Amazon businesses. He has been CEO of multiple companies, including Opus360 which he co-founded and took public. During his career, Ari has been a senior member of teams which completed over 20 financings and more than 75 M&A transactions with a total transaction value in excess of $1.5B. Ari received a BA in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Ari serves in an advisory capacity on boards of companies including Edify and Seated.He is passionate about rescuing and redistributing food through his City Harvest affiliation. He is an avid kitesurfer, snowboarder, and runner. He is based in NYC with his wife and three young children.

Joanne Hillery

Head of Investments [EMEA], Outfund

I lead the EMEA investment team at Outfund, who are one of the world's largest e-commerce investors, headquartered in the UK. I previously worked with Clearco growing their international RBF business and deploying over €200m growth capital, leading a team of 30 investment managers. I have a degree in Commerce and Law from UCD, and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant working in BDO Dublin. My experience the last 17 years has centred around my passion for retail and tech which brought me to London where i worked with Selfridges and Burberry across finance and e-commerce management roles, and then returning to Dublin to work with Google, Clearco and now Outfund.
