Mr. Urdea is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Deep Ocean Partners, an opportunistic credit firm investing stressed, distressed, special situations and liquidations in both broadly syndicated and private credit. Previously, Alex served as cofounder and Chief Investment Officer of Upper90 Capital Management, LP. Together with his partners, Alex pioneered founder-friendly, flexible capital solutions to companies operating in nascent and growing industries being created by technology and data. At Upper90, Alex strived to add strategic value to founders by providing strategic operating experience and layering in advice from a diverse group of highly engaged advisors and limited partners, as well as a broad network of intellectually curious business builders. Until last year, Alex also served as a Board Director for Thrasio, the pre-eminent aggregator of Amazon FBA businesses and is an active investor and/or advisor in numerous other aggregators including Elevate Brands, Acquco, Heroes, Valoreo, Stryze, HypeFast and Brandslandia amongst others.

Currently Chief Investment Officer at Dwarfs.io and ex-Deloitte. Experienced professional in M&A and IPO Capital Market transactions experience in eCommerce, SaaS and Private Equity. Followed my Master of Science in Accounting at Nyenrode Business University and registered as a Dutch CPA. Also involved as an investor in multiple successful companies across tech, marketplaces and eCommerce.

Brian is the Head of BD & Partnerships at OpenStore, a Shopify e-Commerce aggregator, where he leads the sourcing and acquisition of businesses. He previously led partnerships and success functions for a number of years across similar teams at Google. He was the Senior Associate at TechStars Chicago, and held previous roles at Google and Accenture before business school. Brian currently lives in Silicon Beach, aka sunny Miami, FL.

Senior commercial executive with 25+ years experience in retail, publishing, entertainment & FMCG. In 2015, Chris launched PRO BIKE TOOL - a supplier of premium cycling tools. In 2021, Chris exited to Factory 14, now part of the Razor Group. Currently, he is investing and advising.

Emmett has had a strong interest in eCommerce since he completed a Masters in eCommerce in 1999. With over a decade in leading investment banks Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, Emmett has billions of dollars of corporate finance expertise across equity, credit, and M&A. Emmett overseas all the deals that The Fortia Group advises on.
