Emmett brings investment banking experience from two of the world’s leading firms: Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. Fortia is a data-driven company. Emmett brings data experience as the founder and Executive Chairman of Eagle Alpha. Eagle Alpha partners with hedge funds, private equity firms and corporates to improve their decision making with data.

 

 

 

David Hyland
CO-FOUNDER & COO

David brings finance, operations and Amazon seller experience. Prior to joining he was CFO of a leading  SaaS eCommerce platform that helps over 7,000 Amazon and online marketplace sellers manage customer support, feedback and pricing in one place. Prior to this David founded and led the international headquarters for Marin Software (NYSE:MRIN), a US SaaS Adtech platform.

Paul Hanley

CO-FOUNDER & GROWTH EXPERT

Paul is an expert at both launching and accelerating brand growth on Amazon. He has historically worked with Amazon FBA agency Luzern and a fast growing FMCG brand WaterWipes growing multimillion online revenues +108% in mature hyper competitive Amazon marketplaces.

 

Marc Roca

CO-FOUNDER & AMAZON EXPERT

Our co-founder, Marc, launched Alpha Rock Capital in 2019. It is an aggregator that acquires microbrands (<$1M revenue). It has acquired 9 brands to date and is a profitable company. Marc knows what buyers want. He also started an Amazon incubator called Go-Roca and owns 3 brands.

Richard Jalichandra

Richard founded the first aggregator of Amazon FBA Brands: 101 Commerce. Richard knows what buyers want. He has had several CEO roles e.g. he sold mapmyfitness to Under Armour for $150m. 

Gerald Schoenbucher

Gerald is CEO of real.de. Real.de is one of the largest online marketplaces in Germany. It is owned by the Schwarz Group, Europe’s largest retail company with €113bn in revenue in 2019. Gerald is leading the growth of real.de and a 500+ person team.

Philipp Zeiske

Philipp founded an Amazon agency and two successful FBA brands. He lives in Shenzhen and Berlin and has experience running a 15 people sourcing organization. He provides supply chain advice to sellers we partner with.

Anthony Johnson

Anthony Johnson is currently an investor, and advisor to startups. Previously he was CTO at Thrasio, Giphy, Smartify and the Head of Data Science/Analytics at Reputation.com. He holds an BS and MS in CS from MIT and the MIT Media Lab.

Ken Doyle

Ken is the co-Founder of Luzern Solutions, a provider of online multi-channel selling solutions. Luzern specializes in delivering new online channels for brands and distributors. Luzern is one of the largest FBA sellers in Europe.

Enrique Martinez

Enrique has been Chief Executive Officer of Fnac Darty since July 2017. Enrique joined Groupe Fnac in 1988 tasked with establishing the brand in Portugal. He then held various positions within the Group in both Spain and Portugal. In 2004, he joined the Executive Committee as CEO for the Iberian region. In 2012, he moved to France to head up the France and Northern Europe region (France, Belgium and Switzerland).

 

Leonardo Costa

Leonardo starting selling online in 1995, joining eBay in 2000 to launch eBay Italy.

He joined ePrice in September 2013, Italy’s largest domestic marketplace where he launched and leads the marketplace business. Since 2019 Leonardo has been Chairman of IMN, International Marketplace Network founded by ePRICE with Cdiscount, Emag and Real.de (Kaufland) with the aim to accelerate Cross border trade and provide marketplace sellers new opportunities

Ciaran Crean

Ciaran is a founder of micksgarage.com. The company is one of Europe’s largest online retailers of car parts and accessories. Over 10 millions car parts and accessories are listed on its site. Ciaran brings a unique blend of eCommerce vision, leadership, strategy and execution coupled with a CIO level of technology, data and analytical skillset.

David Barry
David  joined Northbound Group in October 2018 and specializes in the provision of sell-side M&A advisory and strategic finance services to large Amazon & eCommerce sellers. He has advised on a range of transactions at Northbound, including the sale of Helium 10 to Assembly and the sale of Mueller, Pursteam, Pohl and Schmitt, and Spiralizer to Mohawk Group. Previously, David operated his own Amazon FBA business and co-founded AMZEurope.com, an agency dedicated to helping brands grow on Amazon’s European marketplaces. David’s career started in Deloitte Ireland’s Corporate Finance team and he is also a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA)
Aidan Duffy

Aidan helps Irish brands launch on Amazon, and make money. Aidan works with B2B and B2C brands selling internationally. These brands sell profitably to 5 European markets UK, Germany, France, Itay and Spain. The brands use Amazon as their sole online channel or in addition to a D2C website. He writes on behalf of the Irish government departments for their Irish client companies.

Daryl Divilly

Daryl is the founder of I Love Shopping. It is Ireland’s leading e-commerce, salon and distribution group. The company started in 2009 and today has a portfolio of 10,000 products across 10 online stores. It is focused on beauty, health, wellbeing, fertility and pregnancy & parenting.
