Having spent five years at Microsoft developing enterprise software, Sri pursued his MBA at the University of Chicago and made his way into investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and then Macquarie Capital. He then joined Hertz Corporation, helping the $7 billion business expand through acquisitions and divestitures. He established the valuation and operational model for rental car franchising. Most recently, Sri founded Athena Consulting Partners. He works with Fortune 100-500 companies, private-equity portfolio companies, and with mid-market private firms and has led 30+ deals, about $6.5 billion in deal value across multiple industries.

Stephanie has spent her career in private equity and advisory, most recently at The Yucaipa Companies in Los Angeles. Her experience has focused on consumer products, specialty retail, luxury, and logistics organizations, spanning all stages of business. Stephanie has served on numerous boards and is currently a director of British jewelry brands, Stephen Webster and Garrard.

Daniel McCarthy

Founder and Director at Theta Equity Partners

Daniel McCarthy is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Emory University's Goizueta School of Business. His research specialty is the application of leading-edge statistical methodology to contemporary empirical marketing problems. His research interests include customer lifetime value, limited data problems, and the marketing/finance interface. He popularized customer-based corporate valuation (CBCV), a methodology that drives any traditional valuation model off of the underlying behaviors of the target company's customers, which has been featured in major media outlets such as the Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, Wall Street Journal, FT, Fortune, Barronís, Inc Magazine, The Economist, and CNBC. His research has been accepted and published in top-tier academic journals and has won numerous research awards. In addition to his roles and responsibilities at Emory, Dan co-founded and was Chief Statistician for Zodiac, a predictive customer analytics SaaS firm. Nike acquired Zodiac in March 2018. Dan has since co-founded Theta Equity Partners to revolutionize how firms (e.g., private equity, venture capital, and operating companies directly) value companies through CBCV.

Scott Meyer

MD of Deals Strategy at Strategy& (Part of PWC)

Scott began in investment banking at Merrill Lynch & Co. and worked at The Boston Consulting Group. He then worked 8 years at The New York Times Co, where he was CEO of About.com during its hyper growth period, reaching $100 million in revenues. He served as General Manager of NYTimes.com. He started in technology by running Multex’s business-to-consumer division (acquired by Reuters after an IPO). Over the past 20 years, he’s been an accomplished CEO, entrepreneur, consultant and board director with a strong track record in public and private companies. He’s been a leader at successful companies at every stage: founding through scaling to private company exit as well as IPO. He started his own consulting practice – Glenview James LLC in 2018 which is a part of the global PwC platform. Recently, he joined forces with PwC’s Deals Strategy practice, working with private equity firms and portfolio companies.
